When you apply filters, you do not add or remove files, you simply set which files will be visible or invisible in CuteFTP. You can also use filters during folder synchronizations.
You define the filters in the Filter dialog box, then apply them to individual transfers, or use them on all transfers. CuteFTP allows you to set filters that automatically include or exclude files from transfers.
